FULL SCORE
This ballad has very beautiful melody with a singing quality, and the first part is in a comfortable range for a young trumpet player, allowing the performer to focus on tone quality. The lush harmonies Don used in this arrangement make it charming and appealing. The lead line is held by the first part for the A section, then traded to the second part for the bridge.
SOLOS: AABA 32 bar form, chord progression consists entirely of intuitive II-Vs.
