Hartog intelligently incorporates both modern and more traditional harmony into this straight-eighth chart that starts at a medium tempo and turns into an uptempo Latin. The tenor carries the melody throughout in addition to playing an extended solo. The creative solo backgrounds range from sustained chords to unison counterlines under the tenor soloist.
